WordCamp Europe 2017 is happening in a few weeks time in Paris between the 15th and 17th of June. I will be attending.
This will be my fourth WordCamp event after attending the European WordCamps in Seville and Vienna in 2015 and 2016 and going to the inaugural WordCamp in Belfast in 2016.
I will be sharing an apartment with my friends Simon and Colm from Create & Code. It’s going to be a fantastic trip.
Meet Me in Paris
Although a lot of focus is on the talks at WordCamps, for me the main reason to go to these events is to meet great people from the WordPress community.
If you are going to Paris for WordCamp Europe, I would love to meet up and say hello.
I have already spoke to people such as Eugeniu Topolschi from Tesla Themes and David Vogelpohl from WP Engine about meeting up at the event. I am sure I will bump into many more familiar faces during the trip.
I spoke to David about meeting up at the event. Rather than schedule a time to meet beforehand, I think it is better to simply arrange it on the day. The nature of these events means that I never know which talks I will be watching and when I will be free. It makes much sense for me to simply arrange something on the day.
Therefore, if you are looking to meet up, send me a tweet at the event and we can arrange to meet up.
Check out the official WordCamp Europe 2017 website for more information about the event.
