ZNetLive is a web hosting company based in India that has been operating online since 2001. They have offices in Jaipur and Mumbai in India and their data centres are located in India, the USA, and Germany.
The company boasts over 80,000 customers from over 140 countries around the world. They sell a wide range of hosting plans as well as services such as domain registration and business email hosting.
As an official Microsoft Cloud Partner, they are in a position to offer cloud solutions for Microsoft Office 365 too.
In this article I would like to show you the services on offer from ZNetLive and give you a little background on who they are and what they do.
Hosting Solutions
ZNetLive have some of the cheapest shared hosting plans in the market. Their basic plan costs only $2.24 per month and drops down to only $1.68 per month if you pay five years in advance. The plan allows you to host one website and gives you 2GB of storage, one sub-domain, one MySQL database, and twenty-five email accounts.
They are one of the few hosting companies online that allow you to choose your data centre. You can select to host your shared hosting account in India, Germany, or the United States.
ZNetLive provide a good reseller hosting package for those of you who want to make money through reselling hosting.
All of their reseller plans come with benefits such as a free domain name and domain reseller account, an SSL certificate, discounts on WordPress themes, access to a website builder, malware scanning, enterprise email, and one-click software installation scripts.
Their starter reseller plan offers 50GB of storage. It retails at $14.27 per month, but prices go as low as $10.70 per month if you pay years in advance. Indian and USA data centres can be chosen.
Their Linux and Windows based cloud VPS hosting plans are hosted in their Indian data centre. Each plan can be fully scaled and features load balancing and fault tolerance to maximise resources.
You need to use their calculator to work out how much you will pay for your cloud hosting plan. Their lowest configuration costs $37.86 per month for one CPU core, 1GB of RAM, 60GB of storage, and one IP address. Secondary storage can also be added. As you add more resources, the monthly price increases.
For example, upgrading to four CPU cores and 4GB of RAM increases the price up to $99.21 per month.
Linux and Windows dedicated servers are available in their Indian and United States data centres.
The servers that are available change frequently. When I checked their cheapest option was $117.32 per month for a dedicated server in the USA that had a Intel Xeon E3-1230 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 500GB of storage.
All dedicated hosting customers are provided with shell or root access, SATA hard drives, and DDR4 RAM. Plans are fully managed and are setup with a ConfigServe firewall.
ZNetLive offer colocation hosting solutions to companies that want to use their own hosting equipment. They offer colocation at their Delhi and Mumbai data centres.
Each of their data centres features a redundant power supply, free setup and rebooting, and bandwidth from two MBps.

What I was really pleased to see was that ZNetLive have taken steps to give something back.
They offer a free student hosting plan that features 500MB of storage, one MySQL database, and five email accounts.
They also offer free website hosting for non government organisations. An unlimited amount of storage and databases are permitted across give websites for NGOs.
Very few hosting companies give something back in this way so it is great to see ZNetLive taking the lead and offering resources to those who need it.
Support
ZNetLive have what they call a “NodeFirst™ Support system” which ensures they are available, accountable, and answerable.
They provide support to customers via telephone, via live chat, and via an online ticket system.
The company stands by its reputation through its Service Level Agreement (SLA). The SLA contract states what each hosting customer should receive when they host with ZNetLive. If they fail to meet those standards, the customer will receive a credit to compensate them.
For example, if they do not respond to a support ticket within an hour, the customer will receive a credit. Likewise, they will be compensated if the server deployment takes too long, hardware upgrade takes too long, or if the network goes down for a period of time.
Final Thoughts
ZNetLive’s Indian base and colocation options makes them an attractive option to companies and website owners from India.
There is however no doubt that they are going to attract a lot of customers from around the world cue to their super low cost shared hosting and reseller plans.
Their WordPress hosting plans cost only $3.12 per month for up to three websites and their entry level shared hosting plan can be purchased for as little as $1.68 per month. It is hard to argue against such affordable pricing if you need to host a small website.
Telephone support is a great addition as many hosting companies only offer ticket support. It is also pleasing to see them display their service level agreement and credit customers who have experienced downtime. Just about every company on the internet promises uptime of 99.9%, but very few are willing to put their money where their mouth is and stand by their promises.
